The Nikon AR-11 Soft Shutter Release is specifically designed for use with the Nikon Df DSLR, where it screws into the release socket of the shutter release button and provides a softer, lighter sensation with less vibration when releasing the shutter. The top surface is made from ebonite resin - a very hard rubber - that will develop a unique, textured patina over time.
